As I went to the hospital for tests it didn’t occur to me that they would ask me to wear paper knickers. These I actually believed were more of a myth than reality but there I was in my paper knickers and it got me thinking about the paper men created at schools and nurseries. The kind when pulled out that holds hands by the folds within the paper, made by cutting round the outline of a man or object.
This is not Blue Peter but on my return home after the hospital I couldn’t resist making a family of paper knickers or perhaps seven days of the week in knickers.
