Celebrity Americans were apparently really embarrassed by the press coverage of their wanton grabbiness at Sundance's swag chateaux earlier this year. And they've learned their lesson.

They didn't turn down the luxe bag at Saturday's Independent Spirit Awards. They just refused to let themselves be photographed foraging for freebies, according to the New York Daily News. Lets be honest who wouldn’t with Greg Kinnear and Dennis Quaid both pocketing about $33,000 worth of Chantelle lingerie, Ray-Ban sunglasses, Banana Republic blazers and a silver Vespa.
