This book has more similarities to the risky Nancy Friday books. ‘Intimate’ in the title is a clue to how much information is descried of the various rendezvous.

Knickers today: butterfly-printed with shocking pink lace round the leg. This is a snippet of a diary entry from Belle De Jour. Underwear is mentioned throughout the book in many forms. The book is well worth a read although this is not a coffee book to be left around for anyone to flick through.
