Pants HQ launch new collection Madame’s Boudoir

Underwear is everywhere, and it’s never been more in style. Once, underwear was considered unmentionable. Today Britons are flaunting it, with the total UK retail market for lingerie being estimated at £2.27 billion. Combine underwear with the latest home trend ‘craft’ and Madame’s Boudoir introduces hand finished limited edition canvases titled Naughty knickers, Sassy shoe and Penny purse.

Naughty knickers

“Owning something unique and made with love is increasingly desirable in a time of mass production from giant retailers” commented Kelly Denton the designer of the collection Madame’s Boudoir. Artwork is printed directly onto artist's grade canvas. Using a high quality 340gsm matte canvas approved to Fine Art Trade Guild standards, the canvases are then completed with delicate ribbons, beads, gems and limited edition vintage pieces are hand adorned to the canvas to make them unique. Canvases are signed by the artist and limited to 500 for any design, available now as an ideal Christmas gift.

Penny purse

Madame’s Boudoir art collection was inspired by over two hundred sets of underwear owned by the designer, by women featured on Sex and the City and the writers at Scarlet magazine. The focus was to produce scrumptious sexy canvases that would breakthrough the machine-made monotony so common in UK homes.

£98.00 per Madame's Boudoir canvas including postage.
Size 25.5 by 25.5cm. (10.2" x 10.2")

To place an order simply email info@pantshq.com with the name of your desired canvas and delivery address, a link for payment online using a secure system will be sent in response, cheques are also accepted through the post. Alternately you may call 02392825627 to order your canvas.

Many Thanks
The Madame's Boudoir Team

Serena Rees

News - Elle Magazine Feb 2006

Another reason to buy Elle magazine this month is for the feature on Serena Rees. I have picked out the fun Serena's Lingerie Rules

- 'Never put your underwear in the washing machine - hand wash everything!'
- 'Get properly measured by a bra speciakist - bras ar the foundation for your whole outfit.'
- 'Look after your underwear as you would your clothes. So don't throw them haphazardly in a drawer - fold them carefully.'

Serena Talks Sex

- 'Wearing great underwear beneath your old jeans and a T-shirt can feel quite naughty. No one knows what you've got on, unless you choose to show it!'
- 'I don't think men find underwear as sexy as the fact a woman has made the effort to wear it. They love the idea that a lady has gone through the preparation of grooming herself.'
- 'I love it when you can see a bit of lingerie underneath your clothes. A friend of mine got married and her dress was a bit see-through, and she had one of our turquoise tulle bras on underneath. I thought, "wow" - she looked amazing!'

Serena Rees a woman of our own hearts! We salute you!

David Beckham's £1,000 monthly underwear bill

News - Teen Today, Uk

David Beckham spends a staggering £1,000 a month - on pants. The soccer ace allegedly splashes out hundreds of pounds on underwear every fortnight because he never wears the same pair twice.

The Real Madrid star - who is married to former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham - reportedly picks up piles of designer Calvin Klein pants at Spain' s swanky El Cortes Ingles department store. A source at the shop said: "He buys 30 pairs every time and spends between £545 to £615. David never purchases anything other than Calvin Klein from the Pro Stretch range. He doesn't stick around very long and normally looks quite sheepish."

David is known for his extravagant tastes. At Christmas he presented Victoria with a stunning £1.2million ruby and diamond necklace.

Parliament bans use of national flag on underwear

Daily Times, Pakistan

India has banned the use of the national flag on underwear or on any other clothing worn below the belt, a report said Tuesday. However, sports figures and others can wear India’s green, white and orange national colours on T-shirts, caps and coats, according to legislation passed Monday by parliament, The Hindu reported. The legislation makes it illegal to “insult” national symbols by displaying them on clothes and accessories worn below the belt or on underwear, the newspaper said.

The legislation also makes it illegal to embroider national symbols on pillow cases and handerkerchiefs. Interior Minister Shivraj Patil told parliament the measures were in response to suggestions by the public.
